Refund Policy
Version v1 · Last updated 2026-10-27
1. What This Covers
This policy covers credit packs bought from MarketClaims. Free credits, including the credits granted on sign-up and the daily free allowance, are not purchases and have no cash value, so nothing in this policy applies to them.
2. A Failed Analysis Is Never Charged
A credit is deducted only when an analysis finishes successfully. If an analysis fails, errors, or returns nothing, no credit is taken and there is nothing to refund. If you believe you were charged a credit for an analysis that did not complete, contact us and we will restore it.
3. Unused Credits
You can request a refund of any credits you have not spent, within 30 days of the purchase that provided them. The refund is calculated at the per-credit price you paid in that pack. If you bought a pack and spent some of it, you can still refund the remainder. Refunded credits are removed from your balance at the same time the refund is issued.
4. Credits You Have Already Spent
A spent credit has already paid for research that was produced and delivered to you, including the cost of the evidence gathered for it, so spent credits are not normally refundable. We will still look at individual cases where a report was materially defective, and we would rather hear from you than not.
5. How to Request a Refund
Email privacy@market-claims.com from the address on your account, with the date of the purchase and what you would like refunded. We aim to respond within five business days. You can also contact Paddle directly through the receipt they sent you, and they will pass the request to us.
6. Who Issues the Refund
Purchases are sold by Paddle.com Market Limited as merchant of record, so the refund is issued by Paddle to the original payment method. It will usually appear within five to ten business days of being approved, depending on your bank. Any sales tax or VAT charged on the original purchase is refunded with it.
7. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the consumer law that applies where you live, including any statutory right to cancel a purchase of digital services. Where that law gives you more than this policy does, that law applies.
8. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank rather than contacting us, Paddle handles the dispute and the credits from that purchase are removed from your balance. We would nearly always rather resolve it directly, and it is faster for you.
